Gavin Newsom is using Donald Trump's own policies to punish Elon Musk.

In response to Trump’s plan to roll back the $7,500 tax incentive on electric vehicles, Newsom said he will be ‘reboost’ the tax incentive on all electric vehicles in California…except for Tesla.

This means Californians will receive the $7,500 tax credit for buying an electric vehicle — unless it’s a Tesla — likely leading to a drop in Tesla sales in the state.

Incredible politics from Newsom, hitting Trump’s team where it hurts them the most: their wallets.

What a great governor, and nice to see him stick it to Musk.
