When making bold claims about AI, no one should forget the following:

Time will tell. And time never fails.

Anyone blatantly lying for the sake of fundraising will be forever remembered as such.

I could be wrong by a few years but based on the cyclical nature of the history of technology evolution, we are about five years away from the “Great AI Fatigue”. It will wipe out companies, jobs, products, and reputations from the face of the Earth.

It will cause a much-needed reset.

And after we count our losses as society, it will be better than ever before.

This is not new. It happened with the Web. After the dot-com bubble popped, the Web reached its real potential and it became much better than before. But only after billions were lost, reputations were crushed, and the fake narratives were all exposed.
