I’m at the hospital cafe getting a cup of coffee and it’s lunch time, so lots of hospital staff coming to get lunch.

The hazards of working in predominantly the romance genre in publishing.

This is what I texted to one of my authors while standing in line waiting my turn:

Me: Very hot doctor alert!!

Also me: Omg! Hot doctor’s name is Hunter. He’s all the romance trope cliches.

Alas, no pics as I wasn’t going to invade his privacy or sneak a pic without his permission, so you’re gonna have to take my word that he’s hot.

You can have a pic of my not very exciting hospital lunch and coffee tho. I’ve been living on these sandwiches for the last three days. They’re very simple but oddly good.

I’ll be here for another three days, let’s hope I don’t get fed up of them.
