Talarico has been a rock star in this state because he has non-stop confronted this shit in the lege with reason and compassion. Steve Toth is also profoundly anti-trans with the help of Grace Church in Montgomery County Texas. Just truly the most reprehensible human . He also was a huge driving force behind the hostile takeover of our local school board.

Texas has been in this fight for a while. We’ve had anti-trans bills, had reproductive rights stripped away, have actively had history whitewashed, book- bans, you name it, for several years now. Talarico and Jasmine Crockett, who are getting the recognition they deserve on national stage, have been fierce in their fight against all this all along. Texas has been living p2025 for a while now and Texas progressives have been begging others to pay attention, often to be gaslit by other live and progressives with shit like ‘oh, that’s just Texas.’ So folks would do well to have a look at our Texas progressives and liberals who have been fighting this.
