We have cultivated a culture of “nothing to see here”, and thus criminals have ultimately taken over our government for a lack of deterrence these last 50 years. All of this was smoothed over, swept under the rug, and otherwise denied for the sake of “unity”. No, unity had nothing to do with it. It was about keeping all of us docile, spending our money on oligarch-owned entertainment and retail so they can continue to rake in money to control us.
