"It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching." ~ St. Francis of Assisi
Through Christ, God instructed us to love one another, to treat one another as we want to be treated, to show compassion and kindness to those who are struggling and suffering, to embrace your neighbors from foreign lands, different faiths, and different cultures and learn from them as they too are children of God. ALL people are children of God and He cherishes them equally; whether or not you are capable of understanding and empathy for others, when someone tells you who they are, believe them. Accept them. Show them kindness, respect, and basic human decency. To do otherwise is you thumbing your nose at God and showing disrespect at best, hateful cruelty at worst toward your fellow man, His creations, His children. To do so while claiming it was God who so instructed you is not only a hypocritical lie, it's blasphemy. Do not discount, dismiss, insult, harass, or mistreat any of God's children, much less treat others so horribly and then try to justify it by claiming it was the will of God or your duty as a Christian. Cruelty, hatred, and exclusion were never the way Jesus Christ treated others, nor did he instruct others to engage in such heinous behavior. In fact, He specifically preached AGAINST such offensive actions and condemned those who would commit them. If you are actively working to distress and hurt any members of the human race who have done nothing to negatively affect your life in any way, you are doing the polar opposite of God's will. If you are doing so and claiming your lack of empathy and kindness is how God wants good Christians to be, you are a blasphemer. You are not a child of God or a brother in Christ. You are a minion of Satan.
