Canadians have been boycotting American goods and travel to the US for some time, and with considerable solidarity and success.

Here’s my dream: The countries with governments that continue to support liberal democracy increasingly form economic, political, and military ties with each other. And this is bolstered by consumer action, as we ordinary folk stop buying/visiting the US and insist on only buying/visiting our friends and allies.

Think of it like what they used to call, during the Second World War, the “united nations” — minus Russia and the United States.
