I know it’s not a super sophisticated photo, but I love how the sunlight illuminates our kiddo’s beautiful blue eyes. For so long she hated photos of herself but the cell phone has changed that so much by giving us all power to illuminate our lives and feelings. I’ve started to see beauty in the mundane as much as the miraculous, in the desert as much as the oceans, in our aging faces as much as those of our youth.
