2026 Culinary Resolutions

Happy New Year! 🎊

After careful consideration, I’ve finalized my culinary goals for the year. They’re slightly more ambitious than last year’s, but I’m up for the challenge!

  1. Make croissants. (Carryover item from 2025, but 2026 feels like my year.)

  2. Cook at least 2 recipes a month from a cookbook I haven’t cooked from in a while—or ever.

  3. Use my ice cream maker again. (2025 was my no-churn ice cream summer.)

  4. Host a dinner with friends once a month.

  5. Make (or eat out) two meat-free dinners a week. (Expansion of Meatless Mondays)

  6. Try one cuisine every other month that I don’t make often, or (even better) haven’t made before.

  7. Use the tagine gifted to me by my sister and Moroccan brother-in-law.

  8. Eat more foods rich in Omega 3s. (Branching out beyond salmon)

  9. Bake more often with natural sweeteners like maple syrup, honey, dates, and allulose.

  10. Re-organize and refresh my spice cabinet.

Do you have any kitchen-related resolutions for the year ahead? I’d love to hear them! And if not, I hope this sparks a few ideas for your own kitchen goals.
