This is George Retes, a U.S. citizen and veteran who was had his window broken and was dragged from his car by ICE, pepper-sprayed, and thrown into isolation for three days without a phone, lawyer, and no criminal charges filed.

He missed his daughter’s third birthday while locked away in his own country. Now he’s suing the Trump administration for violating his most basic constitutional rights.

DHS accused him of assault after he went public. Funny how that charge didn’t exist when they had him locked up. Must be hard to assault someone through a closed car window they had to break.
