I’m at a place in my life where I always need reminders like this.

Doing all the work I’m doing; producing, engineering & mixing down my own music, turning my drawings into graphic images, now animating those graphic images to promote the tunes that I’m releasing on my own label, Empower Recordings, designing and creating my own merchandise, healing, building; it’s beautiful… but it’s also so lonely. I’ve lived without my family since I was 16 years old & have not actually seen them for almost 20 years now. They broke my heart, mind and spirit. But they didn’t break me.

I have learned to alchemize the silence.

To let the solitude sharpen me.

To make art that feels like prayer and revolution at the same time.

And yet, every now and then, I forget that I am loved. So I create and spend time with my rescue Dogs.

Not to be seen, but to remember who I am.
