It's fine to change your mind! Your intention shouldn't strangle you, it should set you free.

To remain honorable to yourself and others, means that you stick to your promises.

For example:

I've found and chosen my soul mate. I've promised to live my life, side by side with hers. I'm dedicated to this outcome with my entire being. That's willpower. It creates the feeling of safety.

My intention to eat healthy every day... That's an experiment currently. I'm dedicated to taking care of myself in every moment, and sometimes that means I give myself a snack that's not healthy. Along the way I find out better ways to move forward.

These aren't contradictions. They're levels of intensity and priority.

Beyond that I worship myself and myself alone. No benevolent deity would require me to give power to them, because they hold power themselves. Similarly, no person who truly loves me will ask me to give my power away.

Divinity lies within us all.
