Clarity in Magick vocabulary
I'd like to collaborate in creating some definitions for magickal roles. Here's my proposal:
Mystics are people who have chosen to dedicate their life to interpreting the mysteries of the omniverse. And have devoted themselves to sharing their insights with their communities. It's the overarching category for all of the below. Not to create hierarchy, but rather in an effort to create community. I.e. a term to recognize each other with on a soul level.
Psychics are people who have the ability to wield their Feminine energy in such a way that they pick up on energies from beyond the material realm. They interact with spirits. The High Priestess of Tarot and the ancient Oracles/Seers come to mind for this category. I believe star seeds would also fit here.
Witches are people who follow the ways of their ancestors in order to interact with ethereal energies. They could be seen as pagan/indigenous shamans as well, depending on how you define shaman.
Alchemists are people who intellectually study the mysteries of the omniverse. They're the scientists among the mystics and operate more from the Masculine energy. This is the category I'd place wizards and gnostics under. Tarot would describe them as Hierophants.

Furthermore:
None of these roles are gender based.
Biology can influence how these roles are expressed.
You can hold multiple roles
There can be an overlap in roles

Are these agreeable definitions / is this an acceptable framework in your opinion?
If not, how can it be improved?
