Candidates’ forum next up in data center debate: We’re expecting a carryover crowd from the data center town hall last week at Tuesday’s Rome City Commission candidates’ forum.

Three incumbents — Beeman, Doss and Quick — who voted for heavy industry rezoning allowing data centers at the hospital site are on the ballot as are two challengers.

All five are invited to the 6 p.m. forum at the Rome Area History Center on Broad Street

The election Nov. 4 is open to all registered city voters. The registration deadline is Monday.
