In one week, this country turns 250. Today I was at Foley Square for the All of U.S. 250 mobilization. The ask for Governor Hochul: reinstate the reparations commission and return lands stolen from Indigenous peoples. You can't celebrate 250 years while ignoring what was taken—and from whom.
