In March 1985, attorney Arthur Shapiro was murdered in a Mafia style execution in Columbus, Ohio.

Shapiro was the corporate tax attorney for Les Wexner's primary law firm and was scheduled to testify regarding IRS matters of Limited Inc the day following his murder.

Shapiro’s murder was never solved and Jeffrey Epstein began handling Wexner tax matters as early as 1987 through the offshore Trustcorp entity.
