On January 14, 2009 JP Morgan executive Jes Staley sent an email to Jeffrey Epstein :

‘I’m staying at the Brazilian Court (a Palm Beach hotel) getting there around 10. Is that the right place to stay?’

The next day Epstein replied :

‘Yes . . David Gergen is coming to see me today. We should talk before twelve.’

Gergen was still chairing the Harvard Kennedy School with Les Wexner at that time. Epstein was still in jail.
