Every season, a memorable occasion. And today’s excitement features the most hated, cruelest, and vilified Mr. Archibald Ashes.

Sebastian Ashes views his father differently, of course. He bears worshipful witness to his ruthlessness and brutality. He aspires to it. The vein in his forehead throbs as he anticipates his ascendency.

The gavel bangs.
