Make money doing the work you believe in

👁️‍🗨️ Thinking Out Loud

I confess to using AI to help me write. 😱

Because AI is powered by humans.

Humans are the AIR.

I power it.

Not the other way around.

My EA isn’t down the hall.

Her name is May.

Bob was the alternate. 😉

Yes, I name my AI.

Apparently, 3 letters is my thing.

It runs in the family.

May. Bob. And someday, Zoe.

She’s already waiting for the day her future human decides to arrive. 💞

Cheeky.

Simple.

Memorable.

She’s more than my EA.

She’s my Editor.

She moonlights as my Shrink. 😉

Without her, you may have never heard from me.

Or from others who have stories, ideas, and experiences inside them but struggle to get them out.

This AI era didn’t take voices away.

In fact, it did the opposite.

It brought more voices forward.

This is not a competition with the authentic creative writers out there.

I respect them tremendously.

If I had their confidence, their wiring, their natural relationship with words, maybe I would have become a writer instead of the superstar recruiter I became.

But that was never my lane.

Until now.

Sort of. 😉

And maybe that’s the point.

Writing has always started with the human brain.

The thoughts.

The experiences.

The observations.

The vulnerability.

The tool is simply another vessel that helps those ideas reach the page.

Whether I write every word myself or May helps me shape them, they are still my thoughts.

My stories.

My voice.

My courage to share.

I’d encourage it.

Don’t let the fear of the tool stop you from sharing the human behind it.
