A video from Oklahoma City shows ICE agents chasing, tasing, and beating a young man who is not resisting.
After tackling him, agents piled on top of the compliant individual, repeatedly slamming his head into the pavement and dragging his face across the concrete. Even while pinned and being handcuffed, the man continued to face physical force. When agents finally stood him up, his facial injuries were obvious.
Law enforcement may only use force that is objectively reasonable. Once a suspect is under control, further force requires a legitimate safety justification instead of anger or retaliation. Inflicting repeated head trauma on a non-resisting person clearly crosses the line into excessive force. This incident highlights a systemic danger where a lack of government accountability allows unchecked brutality to become the norm.
