Make money doing the work you believe in

Substack, honestly, at first I thought, 'Oh no, another new platform~💦 I couldn't even make use of Threads~'.

X, note, and AI — new waves keep coming one after another.

Each time, phrases like 'Don't miss out' and 'Join now' fly around.

But my impression changed thanks to {mention:キャリア孔明}'s words.

{mention:キャリ孔} isn't just talking about 'conquering Substack'.

I realized it was a movement to 'grow the market itself among content creators'.

Every word, I realized, really gets to the essence of SNS and business.

It's not advertising or algorithms; it's 'someone's passion' that moves people.

In the AI era, anyone can write fairly well to some extent.

But conversely, I feel that the importance of 'who is saying it' and 'what ideology they are speaking from' has increased much more than before.

People won't stay for polished writing alone.

That's why I've been thinking for a very long time.

I've been wondering what makes 'people who won't get buried in the AI era' different from 'people who can use AI'.

It's not just know-how; it's about engaging people, circulating words, and transforming content creators from 'points' into a 'network'.

What's also interesting is the clear assertion: 'It's okay not to be perfect, just write'.

I think this is actually quite important.

Many people who can't share aren't lacking ability; they stop because they try too hard to 'make it perfect before releasing it'.

Even though I myself have been sharing content for a long time, I chased too much information about AI, side jobs, and everything else, and there was a period when I felt like I 'couldn't become anyone significant,' which is why it really hit me hard 💦.

That's why I feel that Substack now is not just a new SNS, but is becoming a 'place where ideologies are visible'.

Which means.

It's exactly 'the importance of freelancer branding' that I've wanted to convey.

A few years from now, when I look back at today in 2026, I want to think, 'I'm glad I started Substack back then~'.

So this time, instead of vaguely observing the trend, I decided to join in with my own words, without losing my individuality.

{mention:キャリア孔明}, thank you!

Huge thanks! 🔥 (A novice still not used to things like this)
