Batteries Are Not the Solution — They’re an Environmental Nightmare

“To store just one hour of electricity for a country like Estonia, you’d need 1.5 GWh of batteries, which first requires 450 times that energy to build, plus 700,000 tons of mined materials. And after 8–10 years, you throw them away.”
