I am reading Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke.
Halfway through Chapter 3, and here’s the uncomfortable truth: We lie to ourselves, constantly.
In investing, we credit our skill when trades go right and blame the market when they don’t.
I’ve definitely patted myself on the back for a "smart trade" that was just dumb luck.
