For my second short video from Southwick Revival 2026, I wanted to focus on the “French Quarter”. 🇫🇷

And what a lovely little corner it was.

There was music, colour, smiling faces, French flags, vintage outfits, and that unmistakable feeling of joie de vivre.

Muriele, from murielefrenchsinger.com, was singing there and brought a beautiful French touch to the event. It felt cheerful, nostalgic, and wonderfully fitting for a weekend dedicated to remembering the road to D-Day. 🎵

After all, Southwick is where the Allied commanders planned Operation Overlord.

And just across the Channel, France was waiting.
