Lando is now 2.5 weeks past chemo graduation. During the CHOP protocol (chemo), my vet teams and I decided to hold off on vacinarions. The danger did not vaccinating against rabies was that if he bit someone, we would have to put him down. And post euthanasia, they would take is decapitated head for testing.

Lando only had a 20% chance of finishing chemo. With modern medicine, prayers, and chicken, he survived. Because he is here, we vaccinated against rabies today.

Vaccination is a damn privilege. I have peace that he won’t get rabies nor be euthanized unnecessarily. He is helping stop animals and humans from getting a deadly disease.
