Make money doing the work you believe in
This week, I am beginning Vol. 2 of Van Mastricht’s Theoretical-Practical Theology.
Here are a few reasons I have been enjoying reading him:
1) He connects theology with Christian living. Doctrine is not simply head knowledge, it is intended to capture our affections for God.
2) His method is pastoral. Rather than ending with abstract conclusions, Van Mastricht consistently presses us toward a deeper devotion and holiness.
3) He reminds us that true theology is Christo-centric.
