BREAKING: Senate Republicans just got busted giving themselves a $500,000 handout with an amendment that lets them SUE the government for investigating them for January 6th!

In a shocking show of self-dealing corruption, Senate Republicans hid an amendment in the bill to reopen the government that allows them to sue the Department of Justice over the seizure of their phone records by the FBI during their investigation of the January 6th attack on the Capitol by Donald Trump’s feral zealots.

The measure is retroactively dated to 2022, meaning anyone who was investigated by Jack Smith over involvement in January 6th can sue — and the violation is worth up to HALF A MILLION DOLLARS in a legal claim.

To put it another way: they are paying themselves for breaking the law!

“This is outrageous. Another reason the CR should not pass. It creates a new offense, tailored perfectly to allow Trump to write a government check of millions of dollars to 8 Republican Senators. GOP Leader Thune just made 8 of his colleagues rich. Off taxpayer money!” wrote a furious Sen. Murphy of Twitter.

The shamelessness of the modern Republican knows no bounds. The government only exists as a tool to enrich themselves off taxpayer dime and to impose their radical fascist agenda on an unwilling American populace.
