Former Ron DeSantis Spokesperson Accused of Exposing His ‘Privates’ to Woman

Fred Piccolo Jr., a man who previously worked as a spokesperson for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and marketing director at New College of Florida has been arrested and charged in multiple incidents involving public indecency.

Brian Wright, a deputy press secretary for DeSantis, confirmed to Newsweek that Piccolo has not worked for the governor in over four years.

The New College of Florida told Newsweek that Piccolo is no longer employed by the school.

Piccolo, 47, is facing fresh allegations after police said he exposed his genitals to a woman while asking for directions, and records indicate he has a history of similar behavior.

Piccolo was arrested by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office and charged with exposure of sexual organs on Tuesday, according to court documents. He is also facing multiple charges in neighboring Sarasota County for incidents at department stores in 2023.
