BREAKING: UH OH! Speaker Johnson’s slim majority narrows to a razor’s edge of just TWO votes with a series of shock events!

The Republican House majority was always small, and it just got a lot worse with the abrupt death of GOP Rep. Doug Lamalfa at the age of 65. That leaves just a two-vote margin in the 218-213 split House — three of those seats are empty till at least the end of the month.

When you add in the fact that the 80-year old Republican Rep. Jim Baird is currently hospitalized after a car crash and the fact that Trump has tormented and insulted Rep. Thomas Massie so much that he won’t vote with Republican leadership on most issues, Speaker Johnson’s majority is essentially gone for the immediate future.

Time to get to work, Democrats! Let’s pass some bills, get those Epstein files released, take away Trump’s war powers, revoke the tariffs, rein in ICE, maybe impeach the President? Success isn’t guaranteed, but we must take advantage of this opportunity while it presents itself. There’s too much at stake, too many fires to put out and too little time.
