BREAKING: Democratic superstar Graham Platner TORCHES "spineless" Republican Senator Susans Collins for refusing to confront war criminal Pete Hegseth during a hearing.

This guy is absolutely relentless...

"Pete Hegseth went in front of an Appropriations subcommittee today," Platner wrote on X yesterday. "Susan Collins is Appropriations Chair. She did not ask him even ONE question about Iran."

"Spineless. Susan Collins is a spineless Senator who refuses to stand up for working Mainers being crushed by costs," he added.

That word perfectly describes Collins, a woman who play-acts as a moderate while rubber-stamping Trump's fascist, plutocratic agenda every time that it matters. She's afraid to confront this administration because she's afraid of Trump and his MAGA base. As a result, her constituents are getting robbed blind as the President and his cronies line their pockets with our tax dollars.

Hegseth deserved to be confronted aggressively over this deeply unpopular, illegal, wasteful war. He should have been held to the fire over the litany of war crimes he's committed or the effect that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is having on American consumers. Instead, Collins let him slither away.

This is the same Collins who, when confronted by a reporter about Trump's confession that he doesn't think about Americans' financial situations, claimed to have not heard the remarks.

Meanwhile, Platner is running for Senate on a campaign that prioritizes the needs of the working class by challenging the oligarchs and corporations that are destroying this country.

This is what it looks like when a Democrat plays for keeps. Platner isn't concerned about making friends with Republican politicians or playing nice with Collins. His goal is to crush her at the ballot box so that Mainers finally have a senator who puts them first.
