BREAKING: Sean Penn is making the January 6th movie Trump DESPERATELY hoped America would NEVER see.

Donald Trump pardoned the violent January 6th insurrectionists, called them "patriots," and tried to write them $1.8 billion in taxpayer checks. Now, three-time Oscar winner Sean Penn is making sure America never forgets what they actually did as they rampaged through the Capitol.

Penn has written and will direct an untitled feature — expected to star Bradley Cooper — that examines the January 6th Capitol attack through the eyes of a police officer caught in the violence. The film, for Warner Bros, appears modeled on the life of Michael Fanone, the D.C. Metropolitan Police officer Penn sat beside at the 2022 January 6th Committee hearing.

Fanone's story is the one Trump desperately wants buried. The officer was brutally assaulted by the mob, suffered a heart attack, a brain injury, and burns, and was later diagnosed with PTSD. He received the Presidential Citizens Medal from Joe Biden. And here's the kicker — Fanone was a ONE-TIME TRUMP VOTER who publicly renounced his support after watching the man he voted for incite a mob that nearly killed him.

Penn explained his presence at the hearing simply: "I'm just here to observe — just another citizen. We all saw what happened on January 6, and now we're looking to see if justice comes on the other side of it."

The timing could not be more perfect — or more humiliating for Trump. The film begins production in mid-2027 and will hit theaters as Trump continues defending the rioters, the same rioters Rep. Jamie Raskin called Trump's "private militia of insurrectionists, rioters, and white supremacists, including those who brutally beat police officers."

Penn has never minced words about Trump, once calling him "an enemy of mankind" who "might try to destroy the world before he ages out of life."

While Trump rewrites January 6th as a love-fest, Sean Penn is putting the truth on the big screen.

Hollywood remembers. America remembers. Please like and share if you remember, too!
