Meet ICE agent Jack Cory Ravencamp of Lenexa, Kansas.

Ravencamp is one of three federal immigration agents named in a civil rights lawsuit filed by Juan Sebastián Carvajal-Muñoz, a Colombian civil engineer who was legally living and working in the U.S. on an H-1B visa. The lawsuit alleges Ravencamp and two other agents violated Carvajal-Muñoz's constitutional rights during an ICE operation in Portland, Maine.

Carvajal-Muñoz was driving to work on January 22, 2026, when agents in unmarked vehicles cut him off, surrounded his car, and demanded his paperwork. Then even after he complied and attempted to show proof of his lawful immigration status, agents smashed his driver's side window with a crowbar, dragged him from his vehicle at Taser point, handcuffed him, and placed him in full body shackles. His car was left running in the middle of the street with the door open and his belongings inside.

The lawsuit further alleges that agents drove him around for hours, ignored instructions to release him after confirming his legal status, transported him to an ICE facility in Mass., held him in a windowless cell, and then released him in Burlington, Mass., more than 100 miles from his home in Portland, leaving him to find his own way back.

The lawsuit accuses Ravencamp and the other agents of excessive force, conducting a warrantless arrest without probable cause, unlawful detention, racial discrimination, and violating Carvajal-Muñoz's Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights.

Separately, Ravencamp has become a recognizable figure in immigration enforcement operations and has been the subject of extensive discussion online. Some activists and social media users have claimed he has a swastika tattoo visible among his many tattoos. I have not independently verified that claim, and I am not presenting it as fact. If documentation confirming or disproving it becomes available, I'll report that as well.
