Make money doing the work you believe in

If you don't believe in viruses, are you still getting your pet jabbed?

When our dog was a puppy and the cat was a kitten, they were vaccinated. I knew no better. Since my mind has been opened and my brain forced to work, after looking at the data, my beautiful pets have never had another shot. Not one.

Which brings me to the point of this note. I've become inquisitive of dog owners in the park to the extent that I casually ask them if they routinely get their animal vaccinated. I don't make a big thing of it, I just nudge it into the conversation. They all say yes, with a look that says they're responsible owners and why wouldn't they?

Then I was chatting to this woman with a very elderly dog and I enquired with the same question; but she was reticent to answer, so I nudged a bit harder and she said that if I really wanted to know, then no, her dog hadn't been vaccinated since it was a puppy. And then she said, did I think she was a bad owner, and I replied no, I really think you've done the right thing, at which point she looked at me in amazement. Then she explained that other dog walkers, once they became aware of her dog’s vaccine status, wouldn't let their dogs anywhere near hers. I, naively, was astonished.

You see after seeing so many dogs become sick, on full time medication, tumours aplenty, I've become convinced that the sickest dogs are the ones that have every vaccine going. The vet says, shall we jab little Bonzo today, you know just to be on the safe side, and the owner says, oh yes please what a sensible thing to do. Which leads me to politely ask the question: are you still getting your beloved pet jabbed?

Statistically the lifespan of domestic dogs has decreased dramatically, which, it would appear, is in direct proportion to the number of jabs they receive, and is utterly tragic. And while I think of it, isn't this now starting to appear the case for us humans, too?
