My husband was laid off from his art directing job yesterday. They’re replacing the art department with a marketing department that will likely attempt to use AI to do the creative work he’s done for the last 3 years. At a work event this spring, his boss told me the company felt like a family. Ha.

His job paid our main bills, gave us health insurance. We have toddler twins. Trying so hard to be hopeful and not freak out right now. If you have stories of being fired / career hardship leading to something so much better, pleeeease please share!
