FOUNDATIONS

Some of us have been speaking about great awakenings and global deconstruction for many years.

We have chosen to be here on the planet when this is happening. It is now happening without any deniability.

The nature, timing, and progression of the awakening is up to all of us.

It is not predetermined.

Many elements are supporting it, but the timing and expression will be created by all of us.

When there are ego deaths and disintegrating belief systems, what do we turn to?

It can be very alluring to simply replace one ideology with another, for example, spiritual naivety or ungrounded optimism.

In “The Unspeakable World,” Alan Watts says,

“unless you do have that basic framework of a certain kind of order, and a certain kind of discipline, the force of liberation will blow the world to pieces. It’s too strong a current for the wire."

What we need are foundations, and the most important of these is our foundational relationship with contacting unlimited awareness.

There are others, of course,

• our core values,

• how we apply these in our actions,

• psychological health,

• doing our emotional work,

• nervous system regulation,

to name some.

The ground of awareness is the same awareness in which every thought, feeling, sensation, and happening rises.

The same awareness that is always here, there, everywhere.

The field from which all emerges.

The “joke” is it is not as ineffable as it sounds.

We are this.

Add to this practice, which is a life practice, when we gather with others with a shared intent to explore, awaken and ground awakened consciousness, the potency of what can be opened, held, and known through the field multiplies hugely.
