In what appears to be an incredible financial strategy, ZeroDarkTony is shaking his cup this morning asking for “jewels” to help him pay legal fees after spending months obsessively targeting a minor online and getting held accountable for it.

Restitution could reportedly climb above $40,000, and unless something changed recently, it also doesn’t appear the original $790 in court fines and fees have even been paid yet.

What makes it even more absurd is watching his chat happily throw money at him to help cover the consequences of his own actions. Some of the same people cheering him on were participating in his chat at the time cheering him on as well as a Discord where they collected and circulating photos of the minor so they could obsess privately and ogle at him off-stream. So perhaps they should do their part to pay the restitution.

So, the collection plate is out because reality is finally cashing in.

Imagine explaining to your significant other that you donated YouTube “jewels” to help a grown man pay restitution connected to stalking and speaking sexually about a kid. Peak internet cringe behavior.
