12 Days of Christmas
On the second day of Christmas, we revisit my weekly article written when I said goodbye to my office. 2025 was truly a time for significant endings, transformation, and emotional processing. Due to a cascade of unforeseen circumstances, I closed my mental health therapy office, where I spent years guiding others through struggles and triumphs.
As I reflect now, I come to a deeper understanding: it is not the location, space, or even the profession itself that defines the essence of what we do. Instead, it is the unique presence each individual brings- the inner light they let shine in the world.
"Over the years, the office served as more than just a therapy space. It became a place for brainstorming, problem-solving, grieving, laughing, and celebrating."
May you allow your light to shine brightly this holiday season.
