Tim Walz in his own words tends to lend credence to Donald Trump’s linkage of Walz’ stance on abortion to that of former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, who endorsed actual infanticide.
Specifically, back in 2019, Northam made the following remarks in a radio interview:
“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother,” Northam said during an interview on WTOP radio.

While it is unclear if Walz supports infanticide, Minnesota’s “Protect Reproductive Options Act” does not appear to impose any limitations on abortion whatsoever.

At a minimum, Walz supports abortion right up to the moment of actual birth, as language of the PRO Act allows for that.
Bear in mind that abortion is undeniably the destruction of a unique human being—a person within the legal framework regarding DNA and identity used in every court in the United States today.
