Ok. I’m shaking. This is my first thread. My small business that I’ve had for 20 years is probably dead as of now. Trump and his idiotic tariffs killed my livelihood, my families business today.

Just now,  I got a small shipment via UPS of products my customers are waiting for.  …A small box. A small box of stuff that can’t be made in the USA because we don’t have the materials here.

The tariff bill I have to pay the US government is $5,000 that needs to be paid up front. How can I stay in business unless I jack up prices now? As a small business I’ve always prided myself on giving …great customer service and lowest possible prices. This is NOT sustainable.

NOT ONE economist says tariffs will be good for the country. If me, an average American is already feeling this and will have to possibly shut my business of 20 years…then I know we are ALL in danger of a collapsing economy.

…All for a vanity act of a narcissistic president that knows nothing about business.

America will be his 7th bankruptcy.

No, I didn’t  vote for him. I knew this would end badly in 2016 when he came down that golden elevator in Trump tower. A TV reality star that was playing a role. An act. An unserious man, a felon and a SAer.

…I know I’m writing into a void, none of my post are ever read…but thanks I needed to vent.  And…if you own a small business, don’t order products from oversees anymore until you jack up your prices to cover your losses. I’m sorry for my loyal customers, some have been with me for 20 years and I love them all. TARIFFS ARE A TAX ON US ALL!

Time to buckle up.

Footnote: Another business (farming) sold 100% of its produce to the government that was then shipped as USAid. They say their business is basically bankrupt after 18 years of feeding the poor in developing countries.
