On a day for gratitude and thanks, I am grateful for this community that didn’t even exist last Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for the people who work at Substack, who are dedicated to building a new media experience we can all work with, live off of, learn new perspectives from and grow together. They focus on improving the relationship between creators and their fans/readers, putting that front and center.

Grateful for all the non-news creators I’ve connected with the past 7 months. That would never have happened without Notes.

Mostly, I am grateful for every person who uses this website and app. You’re helping to dismantle traditional media, because it needs to be dismantled. Thank you!
