Please keep Trey Reed's memory alive. The way his death was quickly labeled a suicide is a painful reminder of the ongoing neglect of Black lives, something that the courageous Ida B. Wells fought against her whole life.

Trey’s story is one we should remember, not something to sweep under the rug. It represents the hard truths that we still face as a nation. Although a second autopsy has been conducted, we are still awaiting the results, as reported by the Mississippi Free Press.

We owe it to Trey to ensure he isn't forgotten.
