Christ has prepared a small splinter of His cross to share with me.

It’s so small that it’s a bit laughable.

Indeed, if it’s not sacrilegious to say, one might be tempted to call my little portion of the Cross “cute”.

I’m reminded of when a small child wants to imitate their parents, and so the parents buy them a child version of some too…
