I agree with this analysis. The war on Iran has perfectly clear objectives - to transform Iran into a failed state (as I argued in my latest piece for Zeteo). The claim that there is no clear objective stems from the media ban on discussing Israel’s influence on US foreign policy. If you are not allowed to say what is going on, then, sure, discussion and analysis will be deeply flawed and weird.
