Long ago I discovered that many people don't perceive the passage of time. To such people, everything is 'right now' or is fixed at some point(s) in the past. Because of this they also can't see the flow of time and connections woven in. It's a disability, IMO.

And they cannot conceive that other people do not think this way, which is why they project this limitation onto others - like the Founder Fathers.
