INSANE—the NY Coast Guard just removed Clearwater Sloop from Sail4th 250 because they had banners on their vessel promoting Clean Water and racial and Indigenous justice. 🤯

The @sloopclearwater is a treasured piece of history as well as a nonprofit organization started by Pete Seeger. They do amazing work educating children and fighting to keep our water clean. They are EVERYTHING amazing about America. Yet on a day when we celebrate our “freedoms” they were removed from Sail4th250 for exercise their first amendment rights. Wild.
