It is an absolute outrage that one of America’s best journalists, “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley was fired by CBS for standing up to the network’s owners and new management over their bending the knee to Trump. Scott was like a mentor to me many years ago at CBS. As I’ve said many times, when “60 Minutes” is in trouble, we are all in trouble.
