To say that “my grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry” has been my least favorite Fredrick Backman read is a bit like telling you what my least favorite pizza is.

If it’s pizza, I love it.

If it’s Backman, I love it.

While “My Friends,” “A Man Called Ove,” and even “Britt Marie Was Here” (which I accidentally read before this one 🤦‍♂️) hit me harder, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of Elsa and Granny.
