Thoughts

I think thinking about consequences is counterproductive for all the good it does. I mean, consider this: a situation where you want to do something, a thing where a lot of the factors have aligned but you mess it all up by thinking beyond the present.

Thinking about what happens next is problematic, it stops you from performing actions what may have profound impacts on your life, practically you cant predict all the ways in which an action can change your life and trying to do so is futile in and of itself, perhaps the best thing to do is to live in the moment or some variation of it.

"Paralysis", this word is mostly ascribed to medicinal occurrences but if you actually study your personal lives, you would observe instances of this phenomenon in it, events where you could have performed an action but you didn't for fear of the consequences.

That word again "Consequences " , consequences generally is defined as something that occurs as a result of something else. It can also be referred to as the impact something has on you. No, thats not quite right , not "impact", consequences would be more aptly referred to as the direct result of a previous action. Impact would then be referred to as the compounding of the results.

A model i am considering to turn off my consequences sensor, is to just perform the action. Simply that, perform the action and see where it leads. As i have said, even with the brain's enormous capacity, accurately predicting events is a fool's errand because of the existence of variables.
