The BBC is airing a docu-drama on Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe – who was taken hostage by Iran over a big UK debt. Her detention led to media outrage.

Israel constantly kidnaps Palestinian Nazanins - like this 23-year-old nurse, Tasneem al-Homs. She was seized in Gaza, held without charge and tortured, all to put pressure on her father, a hospital director, who was abducted by Israel weeks earlier.

As with other senior doctors, Israel alleges Dr Marwan al-Homs is a Hamas terrorist – without producing a shred of evidence, of course. Israel presumably hoped to force a confession by seizing his daughter.

The BBC will never make a documentary about Tasneem or any of the other thousands of Palestinian hostages in Israel's torture camps.
