There are so many ways the UK has been actively complicit in Israel's mass slaughter of civilians in Gaza.

Possibly the least explicable is the Home Office's continuing block on women and children in Gaza, living in horrendous conditions, being able to reunite with family members already in the UK.

The government has been denying such claims – accepted in the case of other countries under established family reunion procedures – even of small children. Why? Because, says the Home Office, they pose a security risk.

The Home Office justifies its position on the grounds these children come from a “territory where terrorists operate” – even though some are children of a parent granted leave to remain in the UK precisely because the Home Office accepted they were being persecuted by Hamas.
